In the app

  1. Open Turnover and go to Settings.
  2. Open your profile, then Delete account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm. This cannot be undone.

If you can't sign in

Email hello@useturnover.com from the address on the account and ask for deletion. We may need to confirm ownership of the address before acting.

What is deleted

What is kept, and why

Shared financial, settlement and condition records stay attached to the house. The link between your login and retained memberships is removed, but this is not full anonymisation: names in saved records, notes, receipts and photographs may still identify you.

This is deliberate. A house ledger belongs to everyone who lived there — if deleting one account erased its rows, the remaining housemates' deposits, settlements and evidence would stop adding up. Account deletion does not automatically scrub those shared records, delete all uploaded evidence, or erase provider-held purchase and diagnostic history.

Request review of retained information

Email hello@useturnover.com to request correction, redaction, restriction or deletion of retained personal information, including information entered by a housemate. Identify the relevant record without sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive material. We may need proportionate identity verification. We assess applicable rights, other members' legitimate needs and any legal retention duties, and explain any refusal or partial response. See the privacy policy for retention criteria, provider processing and rights. Independent copies exported by other members cannot necessarily be recalled.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, otherwise it will keep renewing.
